Consultation
Consultation only: $60/hour
Consultation + meeting notes: $120/hour
Review of up to 5,000 words + consultation + meeting notes: $180/hour
Service Description
A consultation with me can be tailored to suit your needs. While this is not a comprehensive list, you may want to do one or more of the following:
Seek advice on the editing process
Receive verbal feedback on an excerpt of your writing
Discuss written feedback you received from me
Brainstorm ideas for a story or project
Get help finding clarity on your thoughts and goals
Word-vomit your writing plans while a supportive, hyperfocused editor (that’s me) takes notes and later organizes them into logical categories
Celebrate a success (on-screen candles encouraged)
Regardless of the topic, I will be nonjudgmental and encouraging. If you book a consultation that includes meeting notes, I will send you detailed, organized notes on what we discussed so you can continue to reference them as you move forward.
Deliverables
Phone session, video session, email exchange, or live chat via Discord
Word document of detailed, organized notes (if applicable)
Payment and Scheduling Conditions
Consultations must be scheduled at least one week in advance to ensure availability. It is also wise to schedule project-related consultations within a few weeks of project completion so the subject of the consultation is fresh in both our minds. Payment is due no later than two weeks after the session. Invoices will be sent via email, and payments will be accepted via PayPal.
